Maternity

This seems to be a logical place to start. It is a true beginning. There is no question that 'Mothers to be' exude happiness and joy at the magic happening within them. As the cliche says, 'They glow'! Maternity photographs record the happiness and expectation parents are experiencing with a beautiful work of fine art.

The best time for a maternity session is usually between six and ten weeks before your due date. This is also a great time to talk about photographing your newborn. Calling to schedule a maternity session is best done at least a week in advance. At that time we can talk to you about what you are looking for, what to wear and how to prepare for the session. Maternity sessions, once planned, take about one and a half hours. Whether in the studio or on location in a park, or your home , we aim to make it as comfortable as possible and create a truely stunning art piece.

Need we say more? Babies make every human go silly, talking with weird tiny voices and making unintelligable sounds that only confuse that new sponge-like brain as to what real language is. Grandmothers do it best! Babies remind us of everything that is good in the world.

When do we start to photograph your new little wonder? The answer is as soon as possible. Newborn images are best created with in the first two weeks. It is the true beginning and to capture as many of their changing growth, we have to start right away. This usually includes four sessions, one of two plans. Newborn, 4, 8 and 12 months or 3, 6 9 and 12 months. We then create a beautiful 10"x30" print collection showing your baby's development at these unique stages.
